Congratulations to Decadent Saint Winery for being chosen as the Bertram Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for May! They will celebrate two years as a Bertram business in October.
Decadent Saint is currently open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 12-6, Friday 12-7, and Saturday 12-8. They offer live music on Saturday from 4-7 and Sunday from 2-5. Happy hour is Wednesday - Friday from 4-6/7.
In addition, there are special events each month such as the upcoming Chamber mixer. There are plans underway to open a coffee house, and discussions are also being held about offering a Sip and Stroll Farmers Market. Anyone interested in being a vendor can contact them for more information.
There are also plans for opening the back 20 acres to provide a walking path for customers and their dogs. Dogs need to be "chicken friendly", and as always, the warning to be watchful for snakes will be in effect.
Thank you to Seth Herbeck of Edward Jones for offering us an opportunity to learn more about recession risk indicators, yield curves, Fed funds rates, the recent banking crisis, and debt ceilings. The program was positive and encouraging, as well as an informative look at our current financial climate.
