The Slow Days of Summer Have Been Busy!

August has been a busy month for the Bertram Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the regular monthly member luncheon, the Chamber also participated in some community events.

It was all about "Back to School", with the Bertram Chamber participating in the BCISD Back to School Breakfast at Burnet High School, where teachers and staff were honored with breakfast along with lots of fun giveaways from area businesses and organizations.

The Chamber also hosted a Back-to-School luncheon for the teachers and staff at Bertram Elementary, with a meal catered by Hill Country Smokehouse. This event was sponsored by several local businesses including Hill Country Smokehouse, Jessicakes, Chicken Express, Kourtni Bender Ince, Silverado Signature Homes, Double Eagle Entertainment, Katy Duke, Realtor, GEC Real Estate, R Bank, Atmos Energy, Empowered Women's Fitness Center, BBA, Green Screen Air Filters, and On-site Dispos

al. The Chamber is so appreciative of all who helped make this event a success, and the teachers and staff of Bertram Elementary enjoyed their delicious lunch.

In addition, plans are currently underway for the annual Bertram Country Christmas Festival, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd from 9:30-4:00 in Downtown Bertram.

Anyone interested in being a vendor for this event can find the vendor application here:

As always, membership to the Bertram Chamber of Commerce is open to all businesses, individuals and organizations. The monthly business luncheon is typically held on the third Monday of the month at 11:30 am at the Bertram Community Center. (Dates may differ during holidays.)
